Mental Maths Goals
Below is a list of links to games and websites that will allow you to practice your mental maths goals.
Select your level, multiplication and which multiplication table you need to practice. Record your answers in your book and correct them at the end. If you got more than 80%, go up a level. If you got below 20%, go down a level.

Multiplication Spiral
Complete any addition / subtraction / multiplication / division tasks that link to your goal.
Make, draw, say and write
Work on your current multiplication or division number facts goal.
Make it using counters as an array
Draw it and circle the rows to reinforce strategy e.g. 2 ones, 2 twos, 2 threes, 2 fours etc
Say the number fact at the same time
Write is as an equation - both ways 2 x 1 = 2 and 1 x 2 is 2
Arrays and regions
Use grid paper. Write the multiplication fact. Split it into different parts to show the strategy you used e.g. 7 x 6 could be 3 x 6 + 4 x 6

Multiplication War
Each player turns over two cards and adds them together. The player with the greatest sum or the smallest sum (you decide which) wins all four cards. ** To win the round the player must be able to describe the strategy they used. If working on a particular number fact, players can turn over only one card and multiply it by their current goal.
